Traditions brand coffee maker from Winco Foods grocery store

by Andrew
(USA)

I purchased the Traditions brand coffee maker (Proctor-Silex makes it) from Winco Foods grocery store about one year ago. It cost $10.00, which was the reason that I bought it. Basically, I feel that coffee makers all pretty much do the same thing, so I wanted to buy a relatively inexpensive one.

Also, I bought one a few years back from Starbucks (it was Starbucks Barista brand) for $90.00, and that one was recalled because it was defective. I wanted to buy one that was so inexpensive that if it broke I wouldn’t have to hassle with returning it or something.

The Traditions coffee maker has been great, and we have not had any problems with it. It is very basic and doesn’t have a clock or any special functions, but we are very simple people so we really don’t care. It is very basic looking, it’s just white with a white carafe. So far the carafe has been very sturdy and has not become damaged or rusted. It is capable of making 12 cups of coffee, but we usually only make 8 or so. This model is also very easy to clean, because it’s very small.

Our previous Starbucks model was very difficult to clean because it was so large and burdensome. I would say that the Traditions coffee maker we now have is actually better than the old one we had.
