Toastmaster 12-cup Coffee Maker

I recently purchased the Toastmaster 12 cup Coffeemaker. When I plugged it in and it warmed up I heard a POP, all of a sudden it smoked and water was pouring out of it. The bottom of the glass pot was cracked and that was the POP I had heard.

I am very surprised at Toastmaster for making such a defective product.

This coffee maker is the only one that fits under the cupboard so I keep buying it...here is the real deal: coffee pot cracks and everytime you pour a cup of coffee, it spills. Poor design

I got one of the 12 cup units, it was like new and obviously hadn't been used much from a 2nd store. I was wondering why it was there but for 5 bucks why argue. Now I know why! This has got to be one of the worst designed units ever made. It needs double filters so the filter won't flatten against coffee basket or it's apt to clog and not drain into the coffee pot. And speaking of coffee pot, you have the option of pouring water very very slowly into the coffee maker or the water will back flow around the spout and dribble onto the counter. Now if you get a full pot of coffee out of the thing you will also dribble the coffee via the same back flow. This thing is going into the trash before the end of the day, I'm not even going to keep it around for a backup.

Worst coffee maker ever!!!!!

This is the worst coffee maker ever!!!!! The first one I bought lasted 1 week. Water was leaking out of the back on to the counter. Scared of getting a shock. The second one lasted longer....2 months and the pot started to leak. Hard to pour the coffee without it dripping. I would never buy another one. Going shopping for a new coffee maker.
