Switched from Keurig to Mr. Coffee.

by Phyllis Miner
(Ellenton, FL)

My first Keurig Coffee Maker stopped working after less than one year. I descaled it, paperclip and all, changed filters, etc. I only use filtered water in it. Keurig replaced it in Feb. 2011 and now the replacement has stopped working.

First it is short cups, then, even though I descale it every 2 months, says descale again. Descale it and it seems fine for one week, then it would say brewing, draw the water out and then nothing. Cleaned around pin. Can get plain water through sometimes, but put a K cup in and it just sits there. Then it says descale again.

It is so frustrating and after two of them in one year, have gone back to my old reliable Mr. Coffee. The concept is wonderful but won't be going back to Keurig until they resolve the issues which based on all the complaints, are serious.
