Sunbeam coffee maker is Excellent!

The Sunbeam coffee maker is an excellent, easy to use 10-cup machine that makes a perfect cup of Joe each and every time!

I won’t lie, bought this Sunbeam coffee maker mainly because of the price tag. It was affordable and a brand name so I figured I couldn’t be wrong in choosing it!

I really like the fact that the warming plate keeps the entire pot of coffee good and hot for long periods of time. This, however, is one reason I do not like this coffee maker as well though. I think that the fact that there is no automatic shut off on the warming plate might pose as a fire hazard. I am always very diligent about checking to ensure my appliances are turned off before I leave the house but I still can’t help but worry what might happen if I forget one day! Will I come home to nothing more than a burnt, stale pot of coffee or will I come home to my house burnt to cinders?

This coffee maker is very simple to use. It is just a matter of plugging it in, filling up the water decanter, adding a filter and coffee, and flicking the “on” button! It doesn’t get much easier!

There is really only one thing I can’t stand about this Sunbeam coffee maker; the fact that it is near impossible to clean the water decanter. The space is very tiny and it tends to build up with water film as well as stray coffee ground! This alone is making me consider buying a new coffee maker prematurely. The decanter either needs to have a large enough opening to make cleaning possible, or it should not be in the same compartment as the spot to place your coffee.

Overall, I do enjoy this coffee maker. It looks great sitting on the counter, doesn’t take up much space, and it functions very well!
