Sunbeam Coffee Maker 6355

Seven years ago I purchased a Sunbeam coffeemaker, 6355 from a local discount store.

I had previously owned a very well know brand that I thought would last long time given that people that I know have raved about this particular brand. It was a Braun and it had the timer to set when the coffee should be ready for you.I really liked that feature. Unfortunately, the coffeemaker lasted less than a year.It just stopped working at all one day. I was very disappointed to say the least. A name brand is not always the best brand.

Now let me tell you about my Sunbeam. At the time that the Braun quit working I had very little money to buy another coffeemaker. I saw the the Sunbeam on sale. It was a simple one with no extra features, so it didn't have the timer. I was a little bummed out about that, but I got what I could afford. It did have a 10 cup capacity and that was nice. Now the good part is that not only does it make great cup of coffee, but here it is seven years later and it works as good as it did the day I bought it ! Pretty amazing if you ask me. And it cost me less than ten dollars. I have not had one problem with it whatsover. How many times in your lifetime have you a purchased a small appliance ,like a coffeemaker, that last even over five years? Probably not many, if any at all.

I have had friends and family mention that they were going to have to buy a new coffeemaker,because their last one had quit working. I always tell them about my little gem, my Sunbeam no frills coffeemaker. Others can buy the more expensive ones and be let down. When my finally does stop working, I will definitly buy the same brand as this one I have now. Save yourself some money and be happy with the Sunbeam coffee maker !
