Steam came shooting out from Kuerig Coffee Maker

This is my second keurig, first one the pump went out and they replaced it free of charge very impressed with their cutomer service.Now this one has been turning its self off when ever and brewing only half a cup and yes i have descaled etc,,,,,

This morning it shot steam out of the water tank and the k cup part, will not turn off have to unplug guess it is fried , i love this coffee maker the convience is great but do you have to replace every 8 months to a yr? i have the top shelf one anybody have this problem. wrote to company we will see.
