Senseo Basic Pod coffee maker

I own a Senseo basic pod coffee maker. I have had this unit for over a year now and use it almost daily. I received it via a free promotional offer since I wasn't sure if I'd like it.

As opposed to other machines that make an entire pot of coffee at a time, this machine uses individual coffee pods to brew a cup or two on demand.

I like it because it is quick and easy to use, convenient to store, and easy to clean. There are quite a few different varieties of coffe pods available and with a special holder you can even make tea.

There are two differnt sizes of pod holders that let you control the strength and volume of your cup of coffee. I prefer the stronger dark roast pods and brew my coffee at the strongest setting.

I do wish that the water reservoir had a larger capacity, there is a larger one that I can purchase but it would be better if the one that came with the unit were larger to begin with. Also, it is a bit inconvenient to refill.

I am considering upgrading to a Deluxe version because that one allows for more choices in the volume of your cup of coffee.

All in all, I really like the Senseo because of the fact that you can get a hot, fresh cup of coffee whenever you feel like it and without a lot off fuss. It's also handy when I've got company and everyone wants a different cup of coffee.
