Punktal CafePlus PK-126A Coffee Maker

My coffee maker is a Punktal CafePlus PK-126A. It can make up to 12 cups of coffee.
It's the most basic of auto-drip coffee makers that I've had experience with; there is no automatic "shut-off" feature; there is no setting that will start it at any time of my choosing. But it does its job; it brews my coffee.
It wasn't the cheapest coffee maker at the store, but it was far from the most expensive too. This is evidenced by the cheap plastic parts that don't line up well; for example, the basket is on a hinge that, when closed, should be directly on top of the coffee pot. It is difficult to get the basket in place because it gets stuck on the coffee pot when I try to lock it in place.By simply putting the coffee pot in place after locking the basket in place, this is no longer a problem; it is sometimes an inconvenience.
I do like the fact that this model includes a plastic mesh filter, so I don't have to purchase paper ones. It's also better for the environment.
It warms my coffee nicely and keeps it warm for as long as I leave it on. I've previously owned a Mr. Coffee coffee maker, and had excellent success with it.
It was small, but efficient, and I never had a problem with it. The coffee pot was well designed so there were never any drips when pouring the coffee. This coffee maker has an equally well-designed coffee pot; I've had no spillage issues. It is, however, much larger than the Mr. Coffee coffee maker, and therefore takes up more room on the counter, and isn't particularly slick-looking. It looks like what it is: a purely functional coffee maker.
