One Mug Coffee Maker by Atico international

by Randy
(California USA)

I own a One Mug Coffee Maker by Atico international. The one mug coffee maker is just that, it makes one mug at a time. I love it!

For years I had a Mr. Coffee coffee maker and was always wasting most of the pot since I am the only one in my family that drinks coffee. I saw this at Bed Bath and Beyond and gave it a shot, ever since then I have never used my old coffee maker, it just collects dust in the cabinet. I have had the OneMug for about 1 year at this point.

The OneMug coffee maker comes with a stainless steel mug that I can take with me on the go with a spill proof lid. It also come with a reusable filter which is very handy all you have to do is rinse it out when your done brewing your mug and it will be ready for the next mug when you are.

The model I bought is a sleek black tower with a Stainless Steel mug, it looks very stylish on the counter. I believe it comes in red as well, but I am not for sure.

This is a simple coffee maker best for single cup coffee drinkers, the one draw back I would say is that you cannot program it to automatically brew at a given time, my old coffee maker did. That is really all I miss, this one brews so quickly that I have gotten used to it now though.

For a great mug of coffee....
by: Bob

I've owned one for nearly four years. It has given outstanding service. No product flaws and it produces a fine mug of coffee every morning. I estimate the useage of mine as 350 days a year. If all products delivered this same value per dollar, we'd all be happy consumers.

Plastic taste
by: Anonymous

I want to ditto John's comments. The plastic taste and aroma this machine "adds" to your mug of coffee is over-powering. I'm junking it because I couldn't, in good conscience, pawn it off on someone else.

Onemug coffee maker does the job
by: Anonymous

My husband is the only coffee drinker in the house and up until a year ago, he just did without at home. When I saw this at ABC, the price was reasonable enough to try it. It has worked fine ever since and serves the purpose.

Onemug Coffee Maker WM-6101,
by: John

The OneMug is a poorly designed piece of equipment. The hinges will fail. The unit takes several cleansing to reduce the cheap plastic chemical smell. The unit leaks water. While it may seem a good idea, the unit is destined for the landfill in a short period of time. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this cheap piece of equipment which came from China. Purchase a quality item and not this piece of Chinese junk.
