Mr.Coffee 10 cup ES10 - Sunbeam Product Inc

Mr.Coffee 10 cup ES10 Sunbeam Product Inc.When I get up in the mornings I am usually very rushed. I fix my coffee maker to perk when I push the on button. I had a programable one but it broke so I purchased this one. I have had it for about 1 month. I miss my old model so much,it was a Black and Decker coffee maker.

The Mr. Coffee one makes me crazy. If you do not VERY CAREFULLY load the grounds and VERY FIRMLY shut the filter compartment(and i mean you have to hear it click) you will have a very huge mess in the morning. The first time i used it it overflowed from the filter basket and all over the counter because I did not push it all the way firmly closed. My husband had the same thing happen to him so i guess it is a common problem with this model. It does make good coffee if you can keep it closed.
