Mr. Coffee is Mr. Right for my brew!

My coffeemaker is your basic 12 cup Mr. Coffee, and I adore it! Strong words to describe something as mundane as a coffeemaker, but Let me explain.

Over the years, I have tried almost every coffeemaker on the American market. During the go go eighties, I succmbed to the lure of the three hundred dollar offeemaker slash expresso maker slash milk steamer.

It cost more than my car at the time, and it was a harsh lesson in wasting money. Why didn't I buy computer stock instead? Oh well.

Anyway, I've tried the German vacuum brew models, the French press, and so on. Finally, after buying my house, I walked in and bought the most basic coffeemaker I could think of...yup, good old Mr. Coffee.

It is easy to clean, brews a delicious cup, and shuts off by itself after I race out to work in the morning. I no longer buy my morning cup of joe, instead I spend my savings on vacations.

If cleaning the coffeemaker is a nuisance, I won't make coffee, so therefore the simplicy of cleaning a the consistent quality of the brew equals my adoration for Mr. Coffee.

Mr. Coffee is Mr. Right for my brew!
