Mr. Coffee DR4MC 4-cup coffeemaker

A white Mr. Coffee DR4MC 4-cup coffeemaker holds a special place on my kitchen counter. Compact and able to brew just 4 cups of coffee it is the perfect compliment to my “just one more cup” lifestyle.

On weekends it is enough for my husband and I to share a pot and during the week I keep the pot warm and pour myself a cup throughout the day. When shopping for a new machine I needed something that would take up less space and not tempt me to make a 12 cup pot of coffee and then consume it all myself in the space of a day. This machine was a great fit for both my counter and my coffee consumption needs.

In 2 years of nearly daily use I have yet to encounter a problem with this machine. While there are fancier models out there I went for the basics. This machine doesn’t have a fancy digital clock nor is it programmable but it makes a good cup of coffee, fast. The only feature I wish the machine had is a auto-off switch for those days that I am miles from home and cannot remember if I turned the pot off. While I am unlikely to find a replacement machine in the $20 price range with such a feature the pot does holdup well when left on for hours.

My Mr Coffee DR4MC coffee maker is a good value for money.
