MR. COFFEE 4 CUP COFFEE MAKER

by TERI
(OHIO USA)

I have a Mr Coffee 4 cup coffee maker.

The small space is perfect for limited counter space. Mr Coffee is a great brand and always produces a perfect cup of fresh coffee. It is easy to operate with a one switch on-off button. It is easy to fill up the reserve tank and not spill water all over the counter. The glass carafe is easily cleaned.

The coffee grounds reusable filter is a money saver and the used ground recycle well in the compost pile, making it environmentally friendly coffee maker.

It brews the coffee fast when unexpected company comes over and is always perfectly hot on the warming plate. I hae had this coffee machine for 5 years now, replacing a larger model with this smaller 4 cup coffee maker as I am the only one drinking coffee.I recommend Mr Coffee brand to anyone looking to buy a coffee maker.KEEP UP THE GOOD PRODUCT.

Mr Coffee 4 Cup Coffee Maker

I have a Mr Coffee 4 cup coffee maker. It is the perfect size to make 1-2 cups of coffee. Because its built for small quantities, it brews one cup better than a larger model. It also helps to conserve coffee since it really works well with just one scoop. It also has a guide on the side to show you how many cups you are brewing, which helps with accuracy.

It is a great space saver for a smaller kitchen. Its compact size also makes it easy to store away. It was very cost effective and I've had it for over 5 years.

The feature that stops the drip when you pull the pot out is starting to malfunction and the heating plate is starting to look old and worn. However, for the price, which I think was $20, it has held up well over the years and I would buy it again.

The size is a drawback if you are serving more than 2 cups of coffee so I don't think the claim of "4 cups" is very realistic. So, while it works out well for one person who drinks 1-2 cups of coffee a day, I would not recommend it for use by a couple or family.

It also doesnt have a timer setting but I find that it is so quick and simple to set it up in the morning that I don't really miss it.

Mr. Coffee 4 Cup Coffee Maker

(Oz,Wisconsin, USA)

I have a 4-cup Mr. Coffee. I bought it when I was entering college for the first time in 2003 and I selected this particular model because it was inexpensive, available, and small enough to squeeze into any corner of my dorm room.

It's noisier than many other drip coffee makers, which I don't mind; actually, I find the burbling noise quite pleasant, and it lets me know when my coffee is ready - much like the fancy models that come with alarms, but considerably cheaper.

The only problem I've ever encountered with it is when the container that holds the filter and grounds broke shortly after I bought the coffee maker. It's been held on with duct tape ever since, which doesn't even work that well, due to the curved "ergonomic" design of the coffee maker itself.

Also, because this canister swings in and out on a (broken) pivot, occasionally the edge of the filter will get caught against the top of the coffee maker without my knowledge and collapse in on itself, causing my coffee to become filled with grounds.

It's the only coffee maker I've ever had, although my parents also had a 12-cup Mr. Coffee. It worked perfectly for over 20 years and never broke or complained. I'm sure it would still be working today, if they hadn't splurged on one of those enormous fancy models with a timer and all those other bells and whistles.
