My Melitta Mill & Brew coffee maker works,but the filter basket screen came loose fairly soon,we just keep using it,sometimes I put a paper filter in to keep the grounds out of my cup o coffee.

It should last longer than under 2 years,I cant seem to find any parts or any retailers near where I live,Portland,Oregon USA. No stores even sell this brand any more,I am frusterated!

There is a guy in Vrigina that fixes Melitta Mill & Brews he has parts too. Call Sam at
540-869-1741 or his cell at 540-409-1164 or email Sam at samova@yhoo.com. He invented a STEEL LATCH for the top cover that will never break due to brittleness caused by the constant heat/cool cycles. He can also fix tears in the mesh of the brew basket. He is a genius.
