Krups 12 cup coffee maker

Krups 12 cup coffee maker...WORST coffee machine ever!!! Coffee is OK, but the carafe spills more on the counter than in the cup! Tried a couple different models & they both do the same thing. Why can't they make a carafe that pours without leaking???
