Keurigs are really great

I have a Keurig Elite at home where my daughter and I use it, and of course guests. We have 4 or 5 different brands/blends (no flavored coffee for us) on hand so there is always a variety. It's great for guests too because they also have the variety as well as the novelty of brewing their own cup. Haven't had any problems at all.

At work I have the mini and it's also great. Although it takes longer to get a cup because it has to heat up the water for each individual brew cycle (each cup). This is where the larger models have an edge because they continually keep the water hot and ready. But still, it's wonderful being able to have much better quality coffee at work than what they order for the break room. And we don't have to wonder if the coffee (break room) is fresh, or empty. We have a team of 4 IT people in my office and 3 of us use the mini. If more people were going to use it on a regular basis, we would need a larger model.

Today at work I noticed that the break room French Roast was a fresh pot (and they keep it in thermal caraffe so it's fresh). So I thought why not, I'll try a cup. After all I used to drink that all the time before the Keurig mini and it was fairly good. Yuk. Didn't care for it at all. I guess I'm a bit spoiled now.

And at approx 50 cents per cup, considering I like it MUCH more than Starbucks brewed coffee, it's a good vaule in my opinion. Now don't get me wrong, I still buy Starbucks beans and grind them and brew capuccinos on a regular basis at home. And I think they make a really good capuccino (and other drinks) in the store. But for brewed coffee, Keurig rules based on value, convenience, variety, and quality.
