Keurig Office Pro - K-cups kept "exploding" into the reservoir

Got the Keurig Office Pro because it was supposedly a heavy-duty model, designed for frequent use. We use it about three to four times a day and have had it for seven months.

This morning, we spoiled seven K-cups trying to get a cup of coffee; the grounds kept "exploding" into the reservoir. I ran two rounds of boiling water through the machine and tried again; managed to get a cup of coffee but it was SLOW. I'm sure we'll have more problems. Will try descaling, but think this may not be the solution. Anyone experience anything similar?
