Keurig great coffee, Poor reliability

After reading other reviews on Keurig brewers especially the Platinum series, I had to throw in my 2 cents.

My first brewer lasted all of 7 days and then went on vacation. It just stopped working, It turns on but then shuts off before the brew cycle.

I spoke with Keurig and they sent me a new machine and told me to discard the original one. I can only hope the replacement will continue to work. I can not even locate anyone who will even repair these brewers. For the cost of these machines and the coffee products you would think the quality would be more than just a throw away unit.

Disappointed coffee lover

We are on our second machine and today after just a couple of months find ourselves in need for a third machine. Very disappointing.

Keurig Coffee maker PROBLEM resolved

Keurig worked great for one week then the cup size kept getting smaller and smaller and the NOISE was like an alarm clock going off. Numerous calls to service reps got the same results the noise was acceptable and I should clean machine more often.I live in Vermont and went to Green Mountain Coffee office and was told the same thing. Last week I did get the problem solved I throw the damn KEURIG out the window.

Today I called Keurig directly for what felt like the hundreth time. I have to say their customer service folks are super nice ... unfortuneately, I know this becasue I am on my 4th Platnium brewer. This machine is so flawed, that they keep replacing it (free of charge). I love having the ability to brew a single cup & no joke have like 30 different boxes open ... but their machine is just awful. A month ago the service rep actually admitted to me that they were aware of the design flaw, and were trying to fix it. The new brewer I received last month did have a new display, but after 2 weeks - same issue. The water (hot) pumps back into the reservoir. And I use filtered water, I descale one a month, etc .... ahhhhhhh!

Keurig - Very Poor Reliability - Great Coffe

I have now replaced two machines, Platinum series, from Costco. It is a fabulous machine until the day that it just stops working. Costco keep replacing it when I take it back which is usually after about 3 months. I use it mainly on the weekends and maybe one or twice during the week.
Keurig has to be losing a lot of money with this quality problem. Unless Costco is getting the seconds that don't really work well.
