Keurig Coffee Makers "Use Filtered Water"

The Keurig Machine is designed to use water that has been filtered. If you are using tap water, minerals and chlorine will build up and clog the machine over time. The quick start guide states, filtered or bottled water is recommended.

Drop your temperature if you are able to 188 degrees. The coffee at 192 is too hot and it has a burnt taste to it. Further, do not pack your own coffee hard. If you look at a K cup up to light, its half full and the coffee is loose inside. Fill your personal filter the same way. Do regular maintenance on it and keep the machine clean when not using it.

Lastly, I have had Tassimo, Keurig, and Nespresso machines. The Nespresso is by far the best, but also the most expensive. The Tassimo, too little selections of good coffee and the Keurig is my happy medium. All work well, but you do need to care for them and do your homework and research.
