Keurig Coffee Machine is not intended to last beyond the warranty

I would NOT recommend a Keurig machine. I've had the Keurig Platinum series for about 1 1/2 years now. The pump failed and Keurig kept telling me that it was due to build up in the pump and of course the warranty was only for one year. My water is purified and I rarely use the machine more than once a day, so I don't buy their explanation.

Kuerig Platinum

I bought my Kuerig Platinum in May of 2009 It was running okay and then by Dec of 2009 it would stop brewing mid way thru. We clean and descaled it and the problem continued.

In March of 2010 we spoke with customer service and complained . They said that we needed to send back the K-Cup and they would send us a new Platinum . They said they were out of Platinums and we would have to wait a few weeks.

May 2010 we called and were told that they had them in stock in March and we should be receiving thenew one.August 2010 the new Platinum is acting up again and we received it at the end of May.
Brewing takes over 2minutes and again it stops midway thru. Not recommended to any one

Keurig? Think again befor you spend!

We have been coffee drinkers all our lives and usually pay on average $200.00 for a coffee maker. We are happy to say although we use it once or twice a day, our coffemakers usually last 5 years or better. I do regular maintenance on my coffee makers because, a day without coffee is a day without sunshine.So....we buy ourselves the new Keurig for Christmas...2008,.....by March of 2010...15 months, it has major problems. Keurig better spend their money on quality assurance rather than marketing!Would not recommend these to anyone.
