Keurig B60

I recently purchased a Keurig B60. I was apprehensive at first to buy a single cup machine, but talking with other people who own it, or a similar model, convinced me. I really love how well it makes it's single cup.

It allows for slight temperature adjustment (187˚F to 192˚F) to let you cool things down a little if you like. While it does only make a single cup at a time, it's ready to make another cup within just a few seconds of finishing the brew of the previous cup.

One thing that had me concerned was the use of the proprietary "k-cups" the machine uses. Thankfully I was able to find a reusable filter offered by Keurig on Amazon for only $15 US. This allows you to use any pre-ground coffee in the B60 and works just like any of the k-cups do. While talking about the k-cups, i should mention that the variety of offerings are quite good. Everything from specialty coffees to teas and even hot chocolate. All have been very good so far.

The machine allows you to chose between 3 separate cup sizes. I pretty much always have used the largest setting, but the few times I have used the smaller cup settings, I haven't noticed a difference in taste, so I would say that works quite well. The water reservoir is easily detached and filled, and you get a little warning light letting you know when you need to refill it. The LCD readout is very handy as well letting you know when the machine is ready to brew the next cup and any options you've set up on the machine. These range from automated start time to automated shut down based on a predetermined time or a set time from the last cup brewed using the machine.

It's greatest strength though is cleanup. When the cup is brewed, open the lid, remove the k-cup and throw it away. Simple as that. You'll love this machine.
