Keurig B40 Elite won't turn on after being moved...Anyone have any idea how to get it to work?

I unplugged and moved my Keurig B40 elite and plugged it into an outlet downstairs that has nothing else plugged into it, but now it won't turn on at all, even in the outlet that it use to work in. Anyone have any idea how to get it to work?

I didn't have the great customer service experience of others. I used my Keurig B40 for about six months, then put it in storage. When I set it up again, it wouldn't work. I called Keurig and was told it was out of warranty and they wouldn't replace it. They offered me a $20 discount on a new one but I don't want to buy another one. I have another Keurig still in storage in another state and now I'm wondering if it's not going to work either.

Won't replace

I received a Keurig as an early Christmas present from my daughter-in -law. Needles to say the wretched thing stopped working this morning.:( Having seen all the excellent reviews, I just called customer service. My Keurig is out of warranty and they will not replace it. They will give me a discount on one,but this was a present! I don't want to pay for my own Christmas present. :( Maybe my daughter-in -law got an older one on clerance or something...I don't know and I can't ask her. So now, I am going to be coffeeless. I am not happy.

Keuring wont Power On

After a little over a year, I went to make a second cup of coffee and my machine wound not power back on. Called Kuering and explained the situation and they are sending me a new machine. That is what I call customer service. It was out of warranty but Keurig still respects their product and customers. This is how you gain a customer for life. Nice JOB Keuring!!!!!

Lost Power

Wow, I got on the computer this morning find out how to fix my Elite and then found more people really happy with customer service. Why try to fix it if the company will truly work with you? Well, I called and even timed the conversation thinking this to be to good to be true. 8 minutes later, I heard, okay sir, your new brewer is being shipped and should arrive in 5 to 7 business days. You can also track it through fed-ex. So why bother trying to fix it when the company seems to be on our side. Great Job Keurig. Finally a business that seems to be customer service orientated.

I was dreading having to buy a new one...I trouble shooted, even began taking unit apart (not recommended)...I called CS and they are sending me a new one free of charge...maybe a 10 minute conversation. Customer for life!

So, my Keurig also refused to turn on this morning. Found out it is outside of warranty, but when I called customer service, they are STILL shipping me a brand new one, as a one time courtesy. FANTASTIC customer service, and way more than I would have expected.

Bad Keurig Transformer fixed with Radio Shack Transformer

I seen a comment about replacing the keurig transformer with a radio shack transformer # 2731365 but how would you go about installing a thermal fuse to the housing of the transformer?

I suppose you can create a bridge with the thermal fuse. What about the contacts that may create a short with the body of the transformer?

Elite Stopped Working

Ours just stopped working this weekend. Made a few cups that morning and the power turned off. Tried other outlets but still didn't work. We called them and they are sending us a new one. I am surprised they don't want this one back. Looking at these other posts, I guess it is a common problem. This is our 2nd replacement (previous was a brewing problem)in 2 years. Exellent customer service!

Electrical popping sound from the machine

Love these machines but I am on my 6th Keurig. The customer service is fantastic but I am so tired of calling them with these issues. The last 3 have popped loudly after my cup was brewed. Anyone else with this problem? We have had the electrical in the house checked and all is well. I can plug in a phone or anything else into the same outlets without a problem.

B40 Fix

The general problem with this machine is a poorly wound step down transformer to 14.5 volts. Mine was less than a year old when it stopped working for a friend of mine. He gave it to me and I replaced the transformer with one from radio shack for $6.59. Easy fix, but I wouldn't recommend trying to take it apart yourself. You might wind up with a machine covered in superglue and duct tape.

No power

Came home for the afternoon coffee, but found the coffee maker with the power light off. Tried different outlets. Still no power.
Went to website, called 1-866-901-2739. Answered some questions. Sending a new coffee maker out. Just need to send back the k-cup holder that pops out. When you get your new coffeemaker, you need to register it online.

We have owned our Keurig B40 Elite coffee maker for three months. It has stopped working completely! After trying different outlets in my kitchten to no avail, I called Keurig customer service at 1-866-901-2739 and they tried troubleshooting with me as well. After speaking with a kind, professional of this company, I was informed that they would send me out a new Elite free of charge.

***It is important that you register your product straight away, and report any issues!

Wonderful Customer Service

My Elite model died. I called customer service and they were wonderful. After I answered a few questions about how I used my Kuerig,, I was told they were going to send me another at no cost to me. Even though I'm disappointed my Kuerig didn't last more than a year, their excellent customer service made up for it. With service like that, I'll ALWAYS own a Kuerig.

My Keurig Elete would not turn on this morning. They have the best Customer Service I have ever experienced. After 10 minutes on the phone, I will have our new machine in 3 to 5 business days! They only ask to send in the K cup. 866-901-BREW (2739).

I had the same problem with my B66 maker. I called the number listed in the response and i also received great customer service. They are sending a new Keurig out in 3 to 7 business days. I was getting ready to go out and buy another Keurig when i googled my problem and found the response on this website. Saved me $160.00. Thanks SOOOOO Much.

Keurig quit working - no power

We owned our Keurig Elite for just a year and just the other morning it wouldn't even power on. Tried other outlets etc... Nothing!

Called customer service at Keurig and told them my issue and they are sending me a new machiene. Call this # 1-866-901-2739. They didn't give me a hassle. Top notch customer service.

I love the way you can only make one cup at a time being that I don't like coffee that has been just sitting there. First it started giving me less than the button I use, then when I would have it brew a small cup so my coffee wouldn't be so strong then water would leak onto the counter from underneath the coffeemaker and then the last thing is I went to make me my second up of coffee it hasd turned itself off and it couldn't get it to turn back on. Is there a solution. This is my 2nd coffee maker. I took the first one back to Target and exchanged it for another one. If it's only going to continue to last on 6-7 months for the price they cost I don't want another one. I can go back to the not so convenient way of making my morning coffee, at least I know Mr. Coffee will make it correctly.

B40 not turning on

I had the same issue - owned the B40 for almost a year and it worked just fine... last night I went to make a cup - hit the power button and nothing at all.

I called the customer service line tonight, and without hesitation they are sending a new replacement unit out at no charge. All I have to do is send them the old K-Cup holder from the defective unit.

Call 1-800-901-2739, maybe they can replace yours as well?

Won't turn on

Same problem. One day it just decided not to turn on anymore. I have unplugged it (in case it had a reset) I've moved to different outlets. My breakers aren't flipped. It just does nothing when I push the power button.

Is there a sensor, or a reset, or a valve switch or something I don't know about?

Problems with Keurig

We are on our second machine, and having serious problems. Power keeps turning off and it won't do brew a large cup. We are very frustrated with the machine, as we are stocked up on the
