Hamilton Beach Brewmaster 47665 - Poor Product - Poor Customer Service

I have owned a Hamilton Beach Brewmaster 47665 for less than two years. It begain to leak water out of the water reservoir to the point where we could no longer use the timer feature because by morning all of the water would be on the counter. I think it is absolutely unacceptable that after 18 months, I have to throw the unit away because it won't hold water anymore.

When I contacted Hamilton Beach customer service their answer was to buy a new machine. Totally unacceptable product to me. Steer clear of the Brewmaster!

Hamilton Beach Brew Station

I have 5 of these units here at my Resort, in the office, shop, pool house, my own house and one of the more expensive ones at my Mothers house at this time, they are leaking and they will only brew 2 cups at a time. The one at my Mothers house was used less than 45 days, we had also had 4 other ones prior to this that done the same thing, no heat, leaking, only brewing 2 cups at a time. We were having to turn them off and on to get them to brew a whole pot. Do not waste your money, when I called Hamilton Beach they wanted me to cut off the cord and pay to mail the cord piece to them and send them $6.50 for them to replace one of the coffee pots. I paid my gas money to go and get it the first time as much trouble as they have been it isnt worth it .

I completely agree !! I am on my 3rd one and this one is leaking all the water out or all of the coffee ends up on the counter. Like the first one that they had out . at least you could purchase new seals for awhile til all of the other parts of it started to fall apart.
