Hamilton Beach 12 cup Brew master

We purchased a hamilton beach 12 cup brew master and we loved it and everything about it,but all of a sudden the part where the coffee goes into after it brews,sprung a leak.

My husband looked it over and found the leak close by a screw and he thinks maybe when they put it together they might have tighten that screw too much.Other than it was doing fine.

We have only had the pot about 4 months.Is there anything that can be done?

I must be lucky because I've had my Brewmaster for over three years and it just started to leak. If I can't stop the leak I will buy a new one.

Another leaky coffee maker

We purchased our brewmaster in March 2009. We love it but it started leaking this past week (Nov. 2009) Will try to get a replacement from HB as they have a 1 year warranty. But also intend to try the silicon bead "fix" another poster suggested. A new tank can be purchased from HB, but it cost almost as much as the entire coffee maker.

Suddenly leaked!

I have had this for about a year and a half to two years or so, no problems and loved it till today! It made a weird noise and then suddenly started to leak all over the counter from the bottom.

parts yuk!!!

I am on my second coffee maker. Both have the same leak. Right where the coffe comes out of the pot. I cannot find a new spout since the washer wore out and can not get anything to fix it. Then the spout broke trying to put a new washer on. Where do you find parts? Other than this problem I love my coffe pot which I don't have to use anymore. I can't believe you can't get parts for this.

My brew master was leaking from the bottom seam of the upper dispensor. I put a bead of clear silicon around the seam...problem fixed

I too bought this coffee maker and we just love it. But of started leaking from one of the screws on the bottom of the part that holds the brewed coffee. You can't tighten them because of the type of screw. Not sure I won't to pay for another one. We only had this one abought six months. It's actually sitting inside a cake pan

Brewmaster leak

Hi I saw your comment, and I know what caused my leak and maybe yours was the same.

Where the coffee dispenses is an O-ring - that's what makes the seal when you hold and release the dispensing button. I just cleaned mine and the o-ring came out and washed down the drain - so I am looking for a replacement o-ring but it sounds like maybe you have the same problem.

Try cleaning it periodically

I read that if you clean the coffee maker, it will help. Something about the coffee steam clogging it.
