Green Connaisseur, Home Concepts, GM-610G Coffee Maker
I got my coffee maker when I moved in my with my boyfriend; he doesn't drink coffee and never has, but he has had this coffee maker for half a dozen to a dozen years, because he 'just really likes the retro style and simplicity of it'. So I'm not sure where exactly he got it from, but it's an old green Connaisseur, Home Concepts, model number GM-610G.
I'm sure it's something that you could find a new version of at any department store, or your local Target. I couldn't guarantee that an older version would have the same quality and minimalistic styling that I love so much, however.
As old and simple as it is, it's my favorite coffee maker that I've ever had. It's got the cone style filters, only holds tens cups instead of the now standard twelve, and doesn't have any of the 'convenient' features, such as a two hour automatic shut off or auto start, or even a clock.
It's got the simple flip on, flip off switch that you have to remember to turn off of you could be taking the risk of burning down your house.. I love the simplicity of it.
Perhaps my favorite part about it is that is so easy to wash, virtually everything is detachable for convenient cleaning, and just slips back into place.
