GE Twelve Cup Coffee Maker

I have purchased a GE twelve cup coffee maker recently due to my old one Mr Coffee 12 cup coffee maker being broken by a family memeber who made coffee without the filter.

I love the sleek design and the blue light with the digital clock. It makes the coffee hot unlike my old Mr. Coffee. It also has a timer that is easy to use and program.

I also like the half pot brew setting which is useful when I have guests over who drink coffee but not enough to make a full pot. I can quickly just push the half pot button and presto, half pot is then brewed.

Saves me from having to dump out half the water and re-measure the coffee grounds. The one con I have with this new coffee maker is that when you poor the coffee from the pot to the cup you need to do so in a very slow manner or it leaks and makes a mess all over.

Not to mention the coffee then drips down the pot so when you return it to the heating element it burns. Not liking that very much especially in the morning before ingesting that first cup to wake up.

Overall I like everything about this coffee pot except the dripping issue. If I could use this coffee maker with my old pot It would be perfect.

I purchased this new one instead of the same one I had beacuse the store I shopped at was sold out of them. This new one also has the stainless steel on black appearance compaired to my old one just being plain black.

The stainless steel has more of a classy and tasteful look. The blue LCD digital clock is also classy compared to the traditional green.
