Pot has not broken yet. But the damn thing will not keep time and always says its PM. Ill set it for 1:00AM after a minute passes it displays 1:01PM.
I think I'm going to get rid of this turd before it comes on by its self and burns my house down.

GE 12 cup coffee maker sucks, this Is the second one that I have bought. I thought when I got the first one and It died after 4 mos. that It was just a bad one. And now since number 2 has gone bad since March 1, 09...What IS up with that. I guess everything made these days only last a few months to 1 year. I have had the same type of thing with my Sear washer......They need to start making things back In the USA..................

I purchased this same coffee maker for my wife for christmas the first time we used it the pot cracked around the bottom. Now the coffee maker will not brew and the hot plate does not work either this is the last GE product I will ever purchase.

Coffee maker worked fine at first, then went to slow mode, looked for repacement water filters, Walmart didn't have them. Then the first crack in pot, ran across the bottom, semi circular. Just found my receipt and will return to Walmart today. Because of poor manufacture, this in my opinion could be a safety issue. I am hoping that refund will be in order.

I found white replacement pots at wal mart but I need a black one. I am going to call the customer service number on the manual tomorrow. In case you dont have the number it is 877-207-0923. Good luck

We purchased a GE 12 cup digital coffee maker. Initially we had no problems other than it was sloooow. Then the other morning it came on without being preset and cracked the pot. Bought a new pot only to find out that any button pushed gave us an error. Bad chip or circuit board. If there is another option to purchase another maker, pass on this one.

AFTER PURCHASING THIS COFFEE MAKER AND AFTER OPENING THE BOX I FOUND THAT THE LID ON THE CARAFE WAS BROKEN. I RETURNEDTHE COFFEE MAKER TO WALMART AND RECEIVED ANOTHER COFFEE MAKER. WHEN I OPENED THE NEW COFFEE MAKER, I FOUND THIS TIME THAT THE CARAFE HAD A HOLE IN IT. AT THIS POINT, I GAVE UP AND GOT A REFUND. THIS MERCHANDISE WAS JUNK!!!!!!!!
