Delonghi Filter Coffee Machine ICM2B

I have the Delonghi Filter Coffee Machine ICM2B, a reasonably priced machine that is well made and very simple to use.

The process of filling it with water however is a little awkward to say the least, the sides bulge to provide you with a pouring area but the lid does get in the way and u can end up with cold water going straight through the coffee.

The permanent filter is good though, saves loads of money normally spent on paper filters and is very easy to clean and comes with a handle to make removal easy.

The pot is big and capable of holding up to 10 cups, depending on size of cup, but has a small lid and bulbous body which makes cleaning by hand a bit awkward. It can also tend to gush out when you get near to emnptying it due to the shape of the pot.

The machine is a good, simple starter machine for newcomers to filter coffee but for people who know how they like their coffee to taste it will lack finesse. One of its worst features is possibly the fact that u can put a lot of coffee in the machine but sadly the water just drips through the center and does'nt reach the outside edges, resulting in a lack of flavour.
