DeLonghi EC155 Espresso Maker

DeLonghi EC155 Espresso Maker. About 6 months ago, my girlfriend purchased this espresso/coffee maker for me.

It was after we had lived in London for almost a year and just could not live without espresso upon our return. I knew that DeLonghi was an Italian brand and knew it was known for making solid products overall. I dropped a few hints and suggested the purchase of DeLonghi. As a result, I absolutely love it.

Not only does it have the ability make 2 cups at a time but it has a setting for a single shot and a double shot of espresso. The water reservoir can hold up to a litre of water so you don't have to worry about refilling it often. It also warms up very quickly probably between 2-3 minutes and it is ready to go.

As far as any issues, I have come across a few issues regarding build quality. At times the plastic feels a bit cheap and could use either stronger plastic or an aluminum replacement. I can only assume that its because of the range of the model and better build quality would come with a more expensive espresso maker.

I had previously owned a coffee maker by Mr Coffee and was pleased with its pragmatic performance, but I would definitely say the DeLonghi EC155 blows it away.
