DeLonghi DC56TB Coffee Maker

The DeLonghi DC56TB is an excellent coffee maker. My husband and I purchased it refurbished at Big Lots. Although we had never owned a DeLonghi before, we bought it because it was available for a good price.

This model is black and has a programmable timer and an aroma button. The aroma function allows the coffee to take longer to drip, which gives it a more intense flavor. It holds twelve cups, and even when using the aroma option, it brews fairly quickly.

The only drawback I have noticed is that quite often the coffee spills when being poured. I have had this particular coffee maker for a little more than two years and have experienced this problem ever since its purchase. I often wrap a towel around the carafe when pouring water into the reserve because of this same problem. The coffee maker I owned before was a Mr.Coffee. I experienced the same problem when pouring coffee, only it was much worse with the Mr.Coffee. My husband and I often had to pour the coffee into our mugs while standing over the sink.

I honestly think the coffee brewed with our DeLonghi tastes a little better. I always use the aroma function, and the coffee seems to have a fuller, stronger flavor. In the future I would definitely consider purchasing another coffee maker from DeLonghi. The DeLonghi DC56TB meets all of my needs, and I have no regrets over its purchase.
