Delonghi 14 cup coffe maker - Through World Points

We bought a Delonghi 14 cup coffee maker via World points seems like a good deal. Pour a couple carafes of cold waterto clean it out ,pours great no leaks. Then run a carafe of hot coffee, try to pour into a cup and it is all over the counter.

Through experimenting it leaks between the glass and the plastic ring when it is hot too bad we do not drink our coffee cold it would be great. Don't buy is my advise

questionable Delonghi customer assist

We had the same bad review for the 14c coffee maker. Coffee tastes great, but good luck with pouring into the cup; the design of the carafe and unequal expansion of the glass carafe and the plastic support ring when heated by the hot coffee produces a puddle of steaming coffee all over the counter; the worst part was the lack of timely response from customer assistance with an offer of a replacement carafe. This customer is Delonghi history.
