Cuisine Brew Central DCC1200 12-cup Coffee Maker. I received this coffee maker as a wedding gift, and used it religiously for over 3 years now.

It is by far my favorite coffee maker brand and model. It is quite tall, stainless steel and black finished, aesthetically pleasing to the eye small appliance.

It is an easy to use, well made (no leaks quite common with other coffee makers) and durable product (dropped the pot once - believe it or not it did not break). It has a timed start option. It also has an auto shut off. It has built in signal to let you know when the brew is completed and when the coffee maker is turning off.

It is easy to clean. The grounds basket is located on the top – giving me easy access to pull out and clean. I love the fact that the clock does not illuminate with LED, it’s there but does not blind me.

The only downfall of this coffee maker is the small coffee ground basket, it holds approximately 15 tablespoons of grounds, which can only make about 8 cups of strong coffee (using the 2 tablespoons = 1 cup formula); hence it is quite odd that the coffee maker has a 12 cups pot, but enough room for 8 cups of grounds. Unless you like super weak coffee you will have to compromise and make less coffee to compensate for the strength. Overall it is a great product.
