Cuisinart programmable 12 cup coffee maker

I am a regular coffee drinker and typically drink 2-3 cups before leaving in the morning. I have owned several types of coffee makers through the years.
Last spring I splurged and purchased a Cuisinart programmable 12 cup coffee maker. It was on sale at Macy's for about $80.00. Typically the price is $99.00. It is brushed stainless steel which matches my other appliances.
The coffee maker's programmable feature has been reliable and makes life easier. It is great to wake in the morning to coffee that is ready to go.The coffee made has been good and the temperature is hot. The coffee maker turns off automatically after two hours which is a nice safety feature. The stainess has not been difficult to clean. Water spots have been easy to remove.
My previous coffeemaker was a Mr. Coffee 12 cup. It too had a programmable feature. That unit was made of white plastic which became stained after time. It was reliable and the carafe was easy to replace when broken. I have not had to replace the carafe on the Cuisinart.
I have also had a coffee maker from Gevalia coffee company. It was free with coffee deliveries. That coffee maker was a 12 cup and a stainless-look unit. It brewed good coffee but the programmable timer broke after about a year. Considering it was given free with coffee purchase it was a good value for the year it fully worked.
At this point I'd say that the Cuisinart coffee maker has been the best I've owned and that it was a good purchase. I would recommend it to others.
