Cuisinart dcc-690

The coffee maker that I use is a Cuisinart dcc-690. It is an Automatic grind and brew. The reason that we bought it is we can preset the time it starts and that it will grind the beans and brew all by itself.

I can have fresh brewed coffee every morning. It can make 12 wonderful cups of coffee. The only problem is that if you have a power failure it will reset the lock and settings. It uses standard paper filters and is pretty easy to clean.

There is a few more parts than a standard coffee maker due to the fact of having a grinding cup and a brewing station. Usually a simple rinse and scrub with a brush is sufficient enough to clean all the parts.

We have had before a 12 cup hamilton beach and it was a nice coffee maker, just didn't grind and brew like this one. Before I had to grind my own beans or buy pre ground coffee.

With my new coffee maker it takes out that step. I love how much better fresh ground coffee tastes over pre ground.
