Cuisinart DCC-10000 Programmable Filter Brew 12 cup coffee maker

This a review of the Cuisinart DCC-10000 Programmable Filter Brew 12 cup coffee maker. I received this coffee maker about one year ago. It was a gift so I didn't choose this coffee maker myself, but I have been very happy with it.

I hadn't been very knowledgeable about Cuisinart products prior to this but in my opinion, they make quality products for home use.

The main things I like about this coffee maker are the special features. For one thing, it's programmable, which I love. It's so nice being able to set it for a certain time and waking up to coffee that is already made and ready.

Another cool thing about this coffee maker is that it has a built in water filter. I have well water and in the past, people complained that my coffee had a funny taste. This coffee maker eliminates that and all you taste is the coffee itself.

It has a few other notable features as well. There is a "sneak a cup" feature which pauses the brewing long enough for you to grab that first cup of coffee before the pot is completely brewed. It has a small but readable LCD clock on the front. You can make anywhere from 1 to 12 cups of coffee.

Last but not least, it has a 3 year limited warranty, which I find reassuring, since I've had coffee makers die abruptly in the past.

Overall, this is a nice, high quality coffee maker. It has enough features to make it convenient to use, but it's still easy to use at the same time. I'm pleased with it.
