Cuisinart Coffee on Demand DCC-2000 Coffee Maker

I bought the Cuisinart Coffee on Demand DCC-2000 coffee maker 10 months ago as a gift for my wife. She wanted a coffee maker without a carafe; with an internal reservoir and a push-button dispenser. It's nice being able to just put a coffee mug under the spout and squirt out a cup of joe.
At first, we were worried we might not be able to fill our travel mugs or taller coffee mugs, but the drip tray slides easily out of the way, so it wasn't a problem. We've been pleased with its large (12-cup) capacity, especially when my wife's coffee-swilling sister was crashing with us for a couple of months. When the demand is lower (no sister-in-law around), we can make a pot on Monday, and the sealed inner reservoir keeps it fresh (though not hot) for 3 or 4 days.
We also like the timer feature, though that's nearly a standard feature on coffee-makers these days. The stainless steel looks cool and matches our appliances; probably part of what influenced us to buy it. It is square in shape, and fits neatly on the counter top (under the cabinets, which is nice).
The drawbacks we've experienced are that it's a little cumbersome to clean, and the supplied re-usable filter passes some fine coffee bean grindings through. I believe the internals are dishwasher-safe, though we always seem to hand-wash it. (Who can wait that long for a cup of coffee?)
Overall, we're happy with our Cuisinart coffee on demand coffee maker. Hope this review was helpful.
