Cuisinart Brew Central DCC-1200 Series coffee maker

I’m really happy with my Cuisinart Brew Central DCC-1200 Series coffee maker.

I’d consider it a mid-priced 12-cup coffee maker priced about $80. Its looks are stylish in a modern way with clean lines, brushed silver and simple knobs and buttons. After approximately two months of ownership I’ve not encountered any problems with my coffeemaker, its functionality, or my expectations.

Previously I owned a Mr. Coffee brand coffeemaker which served me well for 3 years or so. The Mr. Coffee performed fine but its white color began to get dingy after years of usage.

My Cuisinart is attractive, dependable, and easy to program. One drawback to the unit, however, is that you must order replacement water filters direct from Cuisinart. This is done by completing the order form which is included with the unit when you purchase it. These replacement water filters are not cheap costing $35 for a set of 12 replacement water filters.
