BUNN NHB coffee maker

We purchased a BUNN NHB coffee maker approximately 3 years ago. The main reason we bought it was because of the how quickly it brews coffee.

You can brew from 4 to 12 cups of coffee at a time. Or another great feature is that you can use it for hot water for other beverages such as tea or instant hot cocoa.

We have not experienced any problems with the coffee maker. Compared to other models we have owned such as Mr. Coffee and Black & Decker; the quality of the maker itself is of much higher standards. No special products or equipment is needed, you can use just standard coffee filters, although they do recommend using the BUNN brand filters. The coffee produced is of good quality, not necessarily better then from other less expensive models that we have owned.

The coffee left in the pot on the warming burner does not remain overly warm after about 45 minutes. So, if you like to drink coffee throughout the day, you may need to make several smaller pots rather than leaving the first pot on for more refreshment as the day passes.

The only drawback is that the heating tank, which holds water at brewing temperature at all times for quick brewing, makes a lot of noise when it ‘reheats’ or brings water up to holding temperature. When we first purchased the coffee maker, we were shocked at how loud it actually was.
