Bunn Home Coffee Makers: Why You Should Choose Bunn

Bunn Home Coffee Makers are different from other coffee makers because of their patented thermostat, three-minute cycle
of brewing time and patented sprayhead.
Bunn coffee makers home use designs are made with the same quality as commercial makers, only you do not have to leave home to enjoy a great cup of coffee. With Bunn Home coffee makers you can have your coffee when you want it and exactly the way you like it. The thermostat keeps the water inside the dispenser at a continuous 200 degrees -- the optimal temperature for brewing a pot or cup of delightfully delicious coffee. Because you do not have to wait for the water to heat, it only takes three minutes from start of brewing to have a delicious pot of coffee. Single servings of coffee can be made in 30 seconds! The sprayhead design patented by Bunn is one of the best features of Bunn coffee makers. It allows for soaking through every inch of your coffee grounds and suspending them until the water pushes through into the carafe to extract the maximum amount of flavor for your coffee drinking enjoyment. If you use pods, the sprayhead will work just as well.
How to Clean Bunn Home Coffee MakersBunn home coffee brewers last longer and produce the best tasting coffee when they are kept clean and free of lime deposits. To keep your Bunn Home Coffee Brewer operating at its best, you should clean it and the carafe regularly. Daily Cleaning Wash your Bunn’s decanter and brew funnel or pod tray with soap and water after every use. Wipe down your coffee maker and warming plate. If you have a thermal decanter, you will need to occasionally pull out the flavor guard and clean it as well. Some thermal carafes are dishwasher safe. Check your owner’s manual for instructions on your particular model. Regular Cleaning Maintenance To keep lime deposits from building up in the lines and containers, place a filter in your Bunn coffee maker, mix white vinegar and water in equal parts and pour into your machine. Turn your machine on and allow it to “brew”. Rinse the pot and filter basket, then pour clean water into the maker and allow it to run through. Rinse the pot again. If your Bunn home coffee brewer has a sprayhead feature, remove the sprayhead and use a deliming spring to remove stubborn lime deposits. The length and flexibility of the deliming spring will allow you to reach into the coffee maker and clean out as much as possible. Move the spring back and forth several times and rotate it to grab and pull lime deposits building up inside your machine. Run water through the machine as in brewing to flush out loosened deposits. Inspect the sprayhead for clogged holes. If it is clogged, you can use a toothpick to clear the holes. Wash with warm water and rinse. Reattach the sprayhead and you are ready to go! Storing Bunn Coffee Makers If you will be gone for an extensive amount of time or if you need to store your coffee maker, you should empty it of water. To do this safely, you must first unplug the machine and remove all of the removable parts except the water reservoir. Make sure the thermostat is off and pour cold water through the machine. Do this again until the machine is cool to the touch. Turn your machine upside down over the sink and allow the water to drain before storing it. Cooling the machine prevents the machine from burning out and draining it prevents the growth of mold. With proper cleaning and care, Bunn Home Coffee makers will last for years of efficient and delicious brewing of your favorite coffee.
