Bunn coffee maker

I own a Bunn coffee maker. What I like about it is that the coffee is made super fast (within 3 or so minutes) because it has a hot water reservoir.

I didn't buy this particular model. I requested it for Christmas and my brother and sister-in-law purchased it for me. I had seen these types of coffee makers at various jobs I've worked and thought it would be great to own one.

So far, I haven't encountered any issues, but there are maintenance and upkeep things to keep in mind: First off, if you live in a place with hard water, you have to "de-lime" the unit monthly (tool included). Second, you have to make sure the hot water reservoir doesn't get too low and burn out, so once a week you have to add more water (if you haven't made coffee that week).

I have owned this model, that makes up to 12 cups, since about 2001.I used to have a Mister Coffee, which was ok, but it took too long to make coffee and didn't taste as well. The warmer did seem to fade after awhile and I had to reheat my coffee a lot. So defintely I would say the current model is much better than the last, due to the better flavor of the coffee and the quickness of the brewing.
