Bunn 12-cup coffee maker

We have a Bunn 12-cup coffee maker, and we absolutely love it. We have had our current one for nearly a year, and it was a replacement for one that we’d had for several years prior to that. While a Bunn coffee maker is more expensive than some of the competitors, it is worth every penny.

Our model stores one pot’s worth of water in the maker, so when you add more water, it automatically begins brewing a pot. If your water is off for whatever reason, you can still brew a pot off the water in reserve.

Bunn makers are also wonderfully fast. Other brands we’ve owned could take 10 minutes or more to brew a pot, our Bunn brews in about 3 minutes. It’s perfect for the morning rush, when you don’t want to wait for that first cup.

Bunn coffee makers are sturdy, and it took several years before we needed to replace it, and that was because it got some rough handling and developed a crack. I definitely recommend this brand.

The only problem we have encountered only took a little time to get used to. Because of the reserve water, as soon as you drop the lid after putting in the water, it begins brewing. So you need to make sure the filter is in, and the pot is back on the burner before closing the lid. But once you get used to that, the speed and durability will make you glad you chose this brand.
