Braun TA1400 Tassimo T-Disc Single Serve Coffee Maker

by Arthur
(NYC, USA)

I purchased the "Braun TA1400 Tassimo T-Disc Single Serve Coffee Maker" when it first came out around 4 years ago. It cost be about $400, which i wasnt too happy with, but it was the "in" thing to get fresh espresso coffee by inserting a little disc and brewing it into your cup.

Well when i first recieved it i was impressed. It was this pretty heavy machine with all these cool buttons, and it came in a steel finish, which gave it that stylish look. But thats where it ended.

The discs were hard to place in the machine. they were flumbsy, the coffee tasted burned, it wasnt strong at all, and not too mention the discs were way expensive to re order. You can only brew one disc at a time, and when you run out of discs, time to break the bank and re order. there were only a few flavours to try, one was a vanilla chai flavour. which wasnt too bad, in the end though the only thing this became usefull to me for was as a center piece in my kitchen.

I dont use it anymore. Needless to say i didint get my moneys worth.I am back to my old traditional coffee maker...Never agian.
