Braun Aroma Deluxe KF550 Coffee Maker

I am the proud owner of a Braun Aroma Deluxe KF550 Coffee Maker. I bought mine at Target a couple years ago for $23.99 at Target.

It is a 10 cup coffee pot maker. It doesn’t have a timer function, nor a clock on it. So if you like waking up to a hot pot of coffee then your out of luck as you have to turn it on manually.

I don’t need a coffee pot with a lot of bells and whistles. If it makes a hot cup of coffee, I’m happy. I have found it very reliable. Very sturdy. It’s sleek counterparty design will fit well in any kitchen. It was designed with ease of use in mind, as the power button is easy to see, the filter is easy to put in and empty and the pot and filter basket the coffee grounds are in are completely dishwasher safe.

What makes this model so special to me was the value. It was hard to find a cheap coffee pot-the others I saw at Target that day were cheaply made knock offs that I had been warned to stay away from. Granted, this isn’t the biggest bad boy on the market, but I don’t drink that much coffee. About 2-3 cups a morning if that.

It takes about seven to eight minutes to make the whole 10 cups. Even after turning the pot off, the coffee stays hot for a good hour. This coffee pot works best with the finer ground coffee because of it’s quick brewing, but works well with any type of ground coffee.
