This coffee maker is great. The first thing I noticed about this model in the store is that the handle is open at the bottom and not attached to the pot. This prevents the little burns you get on your hand if your fingers get too close. There is also a pause feature if you want to pour a cup before the whole pot is done, this eliminates the mess.
