Braun Aroma Deluxe KF510 Reviewed

We recently purchased the Braun Aroma Deluxe KF510 at a local discount store as it was on sale for about $35.00 and that seemed to be a very very good price compared to other similiar types of coffee makers.

We previously had a very cheap low cost Black and Decker coffee maker that did the basic job of making coffee but that was it. It has no bells or whistles on it. The Braun Aroma Deluxe is a an excellent coffee maker and we are very happy with many of the features.

First its extremely easy to use and the control buttons are quite accesible even my 10 year old daughter can operate it very well. Its also very easy to change the filters in the filter basket and not a problem to fill the coffee into the basket. The carafe is very well designed and the handle is a good size and is made solidly for very easy use.

It has a pause feature that we did not have on the old Black and Devker model which I find very useful to use. Overall we have feel we have received a goog value for the money however we did encounter a few negatives. First the water does not get very hot and I think that affects the overall brewing of the coffee and the taste.

I did go back to the store to ask about that and they reconfirmed that the coffee maker was working properly but that it doesnt heat the water as hot as most other units. That seems strange to me. Also their is no automatic timer on this Braun coffee maker and that is a real draw back as you can not time the coffee maker so that it would have the coffee already brewed by the time you came down for breakfast.

I would definately add this feature to my next purchase. However overall I am more then satisfied with the Braun Aroma Deluxe for the money that I spent on it but next time I would buy the next higher cost Braun that would have a programable timer built into the unit.
