My husband and I love to start the day with a strong cup of coffee. As coffee lovers, a good coffee maker was always an essential appliance for us.

There are so many models and makes of coffee makers in the market and we have tried quite a number of them.

Though initially, they all seemed good, we encountered some problem or other with each of them till we found the current one that we have been using for the past two years.

It is a Black& Decker-DCM55 coffee maker. It is a 4-cup coffee maker that suits us ideally. It has many features that impresses us.

Apart from being built very stylishly, the schott glass carafe offers complete hygiene.

It comes with a permanent filter which is very durable and can be reused. Filling coffee in is made simple by the swing-out filter basket.

The warm-plate inside keeps the coffee hot after brewing. Apart from all this, the apparatus has a brew strength controller, which enables brewing coffee according to your taste.

Even while the coffee is brewing, the sneak-a-cup special feature lets you have a taste of the coffee, if you want.

The power indicator and the water level indicator are also additional features that make it a completely reliable coffee-maker.

This model is priced very reasonably and competitively. And two years since we bought it, we have not encountered any problems as we continue to enjoy our morning cup of coffee every day.
