Black and Decker Space Saver Coffee Maker

We had a black and decker space saver coffee maker,it lasted seven years.so we purchased an black and decker counter top model it lasted
3 days and then started boiling the water and all you got was steam and less then half the coffee and the whole time it tasted like plastic.what a nightmare trying to take it back
