Black and Decker # DCM55 Coffee Maker

I own a Black and Decker DCM55 coffee maker. Well, Black and Decker has a reputation over here at my place. So, I was confident while buying my black colored DCM55. Its basically a 4 cup coffee maker and it cost me 2095 Indian Rupees which amounts to around USD 45.
The stylish black machine with its schott glass cerate and sturdy looks, makes 4 cups at a time, which is just right for my family of four. The entire thing is heat resistant inspite of the high pressure inside.
Its very easy to operate, you wont get stuck anywhere. And you can always adjust the brew strength to suit your taste and mood, a very useful feature. It has a durable permanent filter which is regarded as a prime feature by B&D.
The water level indicator makes it easy to monitor the water level. Moreover, you can grab a cup even before the brewing is complete- B&D calls it the sneak-a-cup feature. There's a keep warm plate that doesnt allow your coffee to cool, another good point.
The product comes with a 2 year warranty, which wasn't needed so far. Its almost a year now since i bought it. This is my first coffee maker, so I wont be much help in comparing. But I've recieved compliments for it from my friends, if you can count on it. I've succesfully made tea with it too.
These are pretty much the main features. I havent had any major problems with it so far. It wont work for large groups though, due to its small capacity. To sum it up, it is value for money product. A good investment for coffee lovers. I rate it 9 out of 10 and definitly recommend the product.
