Accountants love Keurig

I work in an accounting office as an admin assistant and I've been here for a year. When I started, they used to have the regular brewers, but it was up to someone to start a pot, which no one ever seemed to have the time for and then the boss would complain that no one made coffee. I then went on a trip for training and saw that the corporate office had a Keurig. I begged and begged, and a week later we had one, they chalked it up to "Employee Benefits" but I think it should have been categorized as an "Employee Retention Expense" since the previous coffee was so bad. Now everyone is able to enjoy their morning cup of fresh brewed coffee. The boss' only complaint is the cost per cup being way over that of a regular pot of coffee, but when we serve a client a fresh cup of delicious coffee and they comment how good it is, that normally quiets him down for a while.

We've had it for nearly a year with zero problems. The only time there has ever been an issue was when someone programmed it to shut off automatically, but that was easily fixed.

And ever since I have wanted one for myself, and since I can afford one now, a keurig coffee maker is what I will go for.
