12 Cup Continental Coffee Maker

by Susan
(Florida, USA)

My coffee maker is white, and it is made by "Continental". I have owned this model for approximately 6 months. Before that, I owned the same coffee pot for approximately 1 year.

I broke that first coffee pot in the sink, so I went out and bought the same model I bought it at the dollar general for $10.00 because I did not have very much money to spend.

This model brews 12 cups, which is a must for me because I love coffee. It is really easy to use. I pour the water in the back, until I reach the fill line.

There is no guessing because you can feel it with your finger. Pull out the filter holder, insert a round coffee filter, pour coffee in it and insert it back in.

It is very simple to use, but here is the problem with it. It is the SLOWEST coffee maker I have ever seen. It takes 30 minutes to brew a pot of coffee.

You can pull the pot out while brewing, but you still have to wait at least 10 minutes for that first cup. Sometimes, you have to pound on the top of the coffee maker to get it going, because it just stops.
